Cheers to Golf Outing Season

One of the very first events I ever had to plan—over 17 years ago—was a golf outing. I had no clue what I was doing. I got tossed into a committee, had to figure out raffle prizes (think Wii Game Console and iPod) and foursomes, and was totally out of my element. Scramble? Shamble? Closest to the pin, longest drive? I couldn’t even comprehend what half of it meant.

Now? It’s one of my absolute favorite events to plan and run. There’s just something about golf outings—being outside, the mix of fun and networking, and that little bit of chaos that always makes the day memorable. If you get good weather, that’s the best bonus!

Here’s to a season full of sunshine, sponsorships, and solid drives (or at least a few good mulligans)!
